At just 7 years old, Stetson Stroup is already making waves in the world of short track racing. Born with racing in his blood, Stetson is the proud son of short track racer Dakota Stroup, and from the moment he could hold a steering wheel, it was clear that speed and competition were in his DNA.

 

Stetson’s racing journey began at the age of 5, starting in go karts where he quickly showed a natural talent for reading the track, making smart moves, and pushing himself to go faster with every lap. His passion for racing and fearless spirit made him stand out among kids twice his age, and it wasn’t long before he was looking for his next big challenge.
 

Now competing in Jr. Sprints, Stetson is also taking a major step forward in his career as a development driver with Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) — a dream opportunity for any young racer. Working alongside some of the best in the sport, he’s soaking up knowledge, sharpening his skills, and preparing himself for a bright future in motorsports.
 

Off the track, Stetson is a thrill-seeker through and through. Whether it’s trying something daring, tackling new challenges, or simply finding ways to go faster, he lives for excitement and adventure. But at the core, it’s racing that truly fuels him — the roar of the engines, the rush of the green flag, and the feeling of chasing down the checkered flag.
 

Looking ahead, Stetson is moving into a Bandolero car, continuing his climb up the racing ladder with big goals and even bigger determination.
